Goods of The Woods Frizzy Fun Half Round Hearth Rugs - 1034 FRIZZY FUN Hearth Rugs SIZE 4 FT HALF ROUND, 48" X 27" MATERIAL 100% NYLON, FREIZE (LOW SHAG) FEATURES Among the synthetic fiber rugs we make, the highest level of protection would be the 100% nylon collections; Forest, Frizzy Fun, Safari, hearth rug and Classic. Nylon has the highest melt point of the synthetic fibers used in carpets. An ember may produce a small melt spot on the nylon rug. These rugs do not offer the protection of our fiberglass hearth rugs hearth rug and would fall below the 100% wool rugs. FLAMMABILITY: All of our hearth rugs meet the CPSC standard FF 1-70 for flammability of carpets. This test is often called the "pill test" hearth rug and certifies that the carpet will not continue to support combustion once the ignition source has cooled or been removed. The ember that pops out may char a spot on the hearth rug but the rug will not burn. It will protect the underlying surface. *DISCLAIMER: No representation is made that hearth rugs will not be damaged by burning embers that fall on them. The purpose of hearth rugs is to protect carpets hearth rug and wood floors from damage. Small burn marks on hearth rugs show they are protecting as designed.
